Job Description
Looking for a Test/Quality Engineering Architect for VmWare Virtualization Infrastructure (Platform) / Cloud based Enterprise applications / Cloud security/ Penetration Testing leveraging any of the following technologies for Voice, Unified Communications and Collaboration product division:

Virtual Infrastructure/ Platform: VmWare (vSphere, vCenter, vCloudDirector), Linux KVM/RHEV
Cloud frameworks and Cloud Security
Web 2.0: REST, Apache ESB

• The ideal candidate demonstrates a system-level focus while understanding the impact of every component.
• Broad knowledge of and exposure to network and voice protocols are essential for success in this role.
• Take on a lead role on a project team of engineers involved in testing of software for Cisco collaboration products.
• Requires use of a strong background in SW test, documentation and implementation on projects.
• Contribute innovative ideas for multiple module architecture.
• Lead testing of subsystems. Perform complex system level tests. Solves complex testing problems at the system level. Define product level test and simulation strategy. Participate in Cisco’s Patent Program.

Desired Skills & Experience
• Typically requires B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MS – EE/CS combined with 12+ to 16 years of related experience.
• Ability to widely present to senior management, theories, phases and concepts of product testing and possession of working knowledge of related disciplines.
• Requires hands on experience with one or more of the voice and network layer protocols.
• Ability to drive and lead complex projects.
• Translates department goals into own work assignments.
