Position Description Information Security Architect.
This position is a senior hands-on technical position. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in information security technologies on Windows and Unix platforms.
The candidate must be well-versed in identity management, authentication, authorization, single sign-on, encryption, and application security architecture.
As the position requires a high degree of interaction with application development teams, superior communication skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide security architecture guidance for application development teams
• Integrate applications into common security services
• Design and develop new security services as needed
• Assist with performance testing of security services
• Secure web services traffic within the Firm, and to outside vendors
• Work with vendors to provide SAML SSO
• Develop security frameworks
• Administer SiteMinder security policies
• Provide technical support for web operations team
• Write documentation as needed.
Skills Required Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of solid application security experience on Windows and Unix
• 7+ years of IT experience, preferably in financial services
• C# or Java development experience
• Web services security
• SSL
• PKI
• Encryption algorithms and concepts
• SSO
• Application security best practices
• SiteMinder
• SAML
• Kerberos
• Excellent communication skills
• College degree in computer science/related fields or equivalent experience
• Ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
